Hello! My name is Maksym Ulanov. I am a photographer from Ukraine. At the moment I live in Brovary (near Kyiv). I am a mechanical engineer by education, my main activity was related to IT – I was engaged in business automation and systematization, implemented information systems in enterprises, developed my own system, analyzed and adapted business processes. Photography has been my hobby for a long time and my main focus was landscape photography and night photography with stars. 

In 2021, by a lucky chance, I took 1st place in the Samsung Art Frame competition held by Samsung in Ukraine and won a prize in the form of a certificate for studying at the Kyiv School of Photography. Since that time, I have been trained in several courses at school: Composition, coloring 1 and 2, 100 art photo techniques with Dimitri Bogachuk. These courses completely changed my view and approach to photography. But, unfortunately, because of the war, new knowledge has not yet been fully used.
